Description
The Coppa Rosa is a women's road cycling race reserved for the junior women's category.
It is the women's version of the older Coppa d'Oro and the competition formula is the same: a one-day cycling race for young amateurs. As with the men's race, the prize is awarded to the sports director of the team in which the winning cyclist rides.
The Coppa Rosa is held on a Saturday, one day before the Coppa d'Oro.
The race has been held since 2000, and includes an alternative circuit to the one followed by the men's colleagues the following day, but with the finish line in the town of Borgo Valsugana in common.
