Description
The Garda Trentino Christmas Trail is a low-altitude event ideal for winter, featuring a 30-kilometre loop around the hills above Lake Garda and a shorter 15-kilometre option.
After a flat initial section, the Garda Trentino Christmas Trail begins a series of climbs and descents, passing through the village of Tenno and then the town of Arco. This leads to the third and most challenging section: the ascent towards Monte Corno and its First World War fortifications. The subsequent technical descent towards Nago and Torbole offers stunning views of the ruins of Castel Penede, before returning to the lakeshore along the historic Valletta di Santa Lucia for the final few hundred metres to the finish line. The mild climate of Garda Trentino makes this race a unique experience just a few days before Christmas.
