Snowshoeing with a Mountain Guide

A snowshoe hike in the Ciampac basin to immerse yourself in the intimate essence of the Dolomites in winter.

Mountain guides will lead you to the splendid Ciampac basin, at 2,160 metres, where winter reveals itself in all its glory. Ascending by cable car from Alba di Canazei, you will reach the Ciampac ski area and, after a route of about 3 km, you will find yourself immersed in a dreamlike panorama, surrounded only by the majestic Dolomite peaks of the Val di Fassa. Snowshoeing on the fresh snow, you will learn to recognise the tracks left by wild animals, as well as the secrets of an alpine environment that changes with the seasons. After this high-altitude experience, lunch in one of the easily accessible mountain huts in the basin will be your well-deserved reward: a perfect opportunity to taste Trentino and Ladin specialities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Price: €45 for adults and children (from 10 years old). The fee includes the activity, the guide and the cable car ticket. The rental of snowshoes and poles is the responsibility of the participants.
