Castel Albano

Unfortunately only some remains of the former fortress located above the village of Mori have been preserved until today. It’s also not possible to recreate the original shape of the castle because no research on the building itself has been done yet.

Just some documents were found about Castel Albano. They show, that the castle had two floors which were connected directly with the main tower. Also a stable and a granary were part of the complex.

In 1440 Albano Castle was destroyed by Venetian troops.
