Castello di Seregnano is a valuable building in the municipality of Civezzano from an architectural point of view

It is not a real castle, but a new building that was built on the remains of the ancient castle and thus covered up all medieval traces. The new palace was built in the current Italian style of the 16th century, stately and imposing.
Seregnano Castle rises in a wonderful panoramic position above the Valle del Sina valley. Thanks to this position, the castle also influenced the development of the village of Civezzano, for example, all the houses were built on only one side of the valley resp. on one side of the road that runs through the valley.
The 16th century building with its beautiful fireplace in the salon, was built at the request of the Guarienti, who took over the property of the Di Seregnano family.
