The project Ledro Land Art was brought to life in 2012 with the aim of displaying the intimate relationship between nature and art. The 1 km long circular path leads from the pinewood of Pur along the Assat river to the Malga Cita.
In summer, this area becomes a kind of open air atelier for artists who realise new and original artworks directly on site. They are free to choose where to unleash their creativity and the materials used are all rigorously eco-friendly. While discovering all the different facets of this project, visitors are invited to pause and reflect on the relationship between humans and nature and on the importance of rediscovering old traditions. Every work features a short description which explains its meaning and message. Let your imagination fly while admiring gigantic cows with horns of steel, an iron snail, a mysterious ufo and many other creations in the forests of Ledro Land Art.
The path is easily accessible and suitable for baby carriages. It is provided with a car park, benches and picnic tables. At the entrance of the park there is an Info Point & Shop with a bar and toilets.
