In Pampeago, in the beautiful Val di Fiemme valley, you can find RespirArt, the highest situated art park worldwide
Image gallery: RespirArt
The RespirArt art park is located between 2,000 and 2,200 m a.s.l. amidst the gorgeous Trentino Dolomites. The idea came from the journalist and curator Beatrice Calamari and the artist Marco Nones. The park was built along a 3 km long circular route, where today installations of international artists can be admired.
Some of the artworks – all made from natural materials like wood or stone – can also be seen from the Agnello ski slope in the Ski Center Latemar in winter. Every summer new artworks are added and others are left to nature. The latter is intended to be a gesture to demonstrate the permanent changes in nature and in life itself.
The RespirArt offers also something for children. Wooden elements which are modelled on the installations wait for them to play. The RespirArt art park is accessible from Tesero by the Agnello Chair Lift or from the station La Tresca on foot (about 30 minutes).
