Located in the ancient district of “Giò a l’Aca” in the historic centre of Fondo, the small interactive museum invites you to discover the world of water

The museum, as the name suggests, is dedicated to the topic of water and consists of six exhibition rooms where visitors can find a wealth of information about the importance of this precious resource and its protection. The exhibition also shows the historical connection between the village of Fondo and the abundance of water that characterises the natural environment and landscape of this valley in the Trentino: Lakes, streams and magnificent gorges. The ground floor is connected to the old Bertagnolli Mill, which was in operation until 1961.
The museum is an ideal destination for a family excursion. Two beautiful hiking paths also start in the immediate vicinity: the "Al Burrone" path - which leads to Lake Smeraldo in about half an hour - and the unique guided tours through the famous Rio Sass Gorge.
