Every year, from mid-November until the 7th of January, the famous Christmas market of Trento takes place, since 2014 it is even held in two places: Piazza Fiera square and Piazza Cesare Battisti square

From mid-November onwards, the streets of Trento are decorated with festive lights and in two places of the old town (Piazza Fiera and Piazza Cesare Battisti) the picturesque wooden huts are placed. It’s time for the Christmas market of Trento which charms with its local products.
At a stroll between the stalls you can find local handicraft, gift ideas and Christmas decoration, combined with delicacies of the Trentino and interesting events, which Trento have made known as “Christmas Town” (Città del Natale).
The Christmas market of Trento, capital of the Trentino, is not only a Christmas market characterised by handicraft, traditions and a very special atmosphere, it is also a “green market”: great importance is attached to sustainability, the negative impact on the environment is to be minimised as far as possible.
