From the 8th of December until Epiphany the largest crib in actual size of the Trentino can be admired in Faedo

Faedo is a little hamlet located above the Piana Rotaliana Plain. Every year the historic centre with its arcades and alleys becomes the setting for a wonderful crib. 80 life-sized figures dressed with the typical local clothes of former times are dispersed throughout the village and can be found in the alleys.
Especially in the evening, a stroll through the ancient alleys of Faedo becomes a unique experience. Highlight during this period is the “Canta della stella” which means Stars’ song. Traditionally it takes place after the 5th of January, when the Three Wise Men and their followers process through Faedo. In a number of places they sing lovely old Christmas songs.
