Easy but not boring at all: the new bike path in the Val di Non is crossing meadows and woods of the highland and is also convenient for families with children

We start our round trip in the village of Malosco. The path leads us through the centre of Malosco where we drive northwards until Fondo, where the signposts lead us towards southwest. Now we bike on the west side of Valle di Non and cross light hilly landscapes with meadows. From here we can see the villages of the upper Valle di Non: Fondo, Malosco, Ronzone, Sarnonico, Cavareno and the dense woods of the Mendola.
Now the bike path runs near the village of Romeno but we don’t drive through the centre. We go round the village, first we cross the street and on the edge of the forest we arrive at the village of Salter. At this point the path leads back to Romeno, now on the east side. For a few hundred metres the cycle path runs on the main street, after this section we drive downhill on the right side, fruit trees and woods next to our way.
We pass the bridge and take the main route towards Cavareno. The next village we pass is Sarnonico which we round in a lightly higher position. Then the cycle path crosses the Mendola Road and leads between Sarnonico and Ronzone back to our starting point in Malosco.
