Before the beginning of summer, the wild narcissus bloom on the meadows of the Dromaè alpine pasture above Ledro

By car we follow the road that leads from Mezzolago up to the Lago di Ledro lake to reach the starting point of our hike. On the edge of the forest there is a small parking space. Here our tour to the hay barns of Dromaè (Fienili di Dromaè) starts on the path no. 453. After a little more than one hour we come to a forest path and shortly afterwards we reach the first houses of Dromaè. Thousands of wild narcissus bloom on the meadows, making this place unique. What a wonderful sight!
Always staying on the forest road, we walk uphill to the Malga Dromaè mountain hut and to the steep slope below the Bocca di Dromaè and the Sclapa peak. Also up here, the narcissus still bloom, a wonderful place with a fantastic panoramic view on Lake Ledro. On the way back we follow the forest path, which is longer but less steep than the trail during the ascent. The forest path also leads past the “Costa di Salò”, a base of the Austro-Hungarian troops in WWI. At the wayside numerous flowering peonies accompany us.
