End of May is ideal for this circular walk around the Lakes of Piné

Our starting point is Serraia near Baselga di Piné. Along the shores of Lake Serraia we walk towards Rizzolaga and discover great crested grebes and Eurasian coots in the reeds. The lakeside is a promenade with places to rest and lawns for sunbathing and stretches until the biotope “Paludi di Sternigo”. There, at the end of the lake, we follow the road which leads via Rizzolaga to Campolongo al Lago.
Here already the second lake starts, the Lake of Piazze, also a real nature paradise. We walk round the lake along the waterfront. At the Hotel Pineta a nice walking path starts, we watch the lake from the opposite side and numerous water birds keep our company.
Like this we reach the Lake Serraia again, this time on the south-easterly waterfront and finish our round trip along the beautiful lakeside promenade (“Lido”), which leads us back to our starting point.
