A botanical themed walk leads from the Passo Brocon to the summit of the Col del Boia - a myriad of alpine flowers awaits you in early summer

Rino Ballerin, a doctor from Castello Tesino, realised his idea in 1980 to unite the old military roads between the Col del Boia and the Pizzo degli Uccelli mountains to a botanical themed walk. Nowadays a circular trail leads from the Passo Brocon pass across the meadows to the timber line - 300 species of alpine flowers can be discovered along the "Trodo dei Fiori" path.
The trail starts on the north side of the road right at the Passo Brocon and snakes its way across the mountain meadows. Information panels tell the flora and different habitats varying due to the altitude and the slope. Arrived on the ridge of the Col del Boia the view opens up on the Dolomites, the Lagorai Group and the Feltre Dolomites as well as on the Monte Agaro and the peaks in the south of the Valsugana valley.
