The Monte Bondone is considered a natural gym for those who love the sport of paragliding. The wind conditions, the wide range of starting points, landing areas and exercising areas make the Monte Bondone an ideal area for flights the whole year round.
The main centre for paragliding in the Valle dei Laghi valley (area of Vezzano) mainly concentrates on the Monte Gazza, a mountain that is ideal for flying, as it is remarkably south-east-oriented. From this mountain (1,500 m a.s.l.) you can do varied flights, with altitude differences from 900 m to 1,300 m.
