It is an easy and comfortable snow-shoe tour to Lake Ritort which offers also a great view on the Brenta Group and the surrounding landscape

The trail "Giro di Campiglio" (Campiglio round tour) takes you towards south, to a wooden bridge. After having traversed this bridge, you walk into the forest. When you reach the fork underneath the cable-car, take the path on your right, following the signposts "Malga Ritort - Lago Ritort".
On the beaten trail, you reach the Malga Ritort at 1,747 m, from where you enjoy a great panoramic view on the Brenta Dolomites. Then you proceed across a wide plain. Afterwards there is an ascent across a forest, at the end of which, there is the Lago Ritort lake.
After having climbed the slope, you finally reach the destination of this walk at 2,063 m asl. For the way back, take the same as for the ascent.
Please note: avoid to walk towards east from the lake (on the trail 232 towards the "Rifugio 5 Laghi"), as this area is exposed to avalanches, it is very steep and not suitable for snow-shoe walks.
