Getting there by train and bus

Rovereto and Trento, the two main cities of the province, are connected to the national and international train network

It is also possible to reach Trentino by means of public transport. In fact, almost all national and international trains stop in the cities of Trento and Rovereto. These two cities are well-connected to the provinces of Verona, Venice, Milan and Rome, as well as Munich in Germany and Innsbruck in Austria. Two local railways start from Trento and run across the Val di Non/Val di Sole as well as the Valsugana.

From south:
Trento and Rovereto can easily be reached from Milan, Venice, Verona and Rome. From Venice it is also possible to reach Trento with the railway line of the Valsugana. For further information visit Trenitalia

From north:
Trento can also be reached from Innsbruck or Munich: DB Bahn e ÖBB.

Also the private long-distance bus company “Flixbus” stops in various towns in Trentino.

For skiers: It is possible to reach the Folgarida and Marilleva skiing areas by train. A particular transport system connects the centre of the Val di Sole to the skiing area Madonna di Campiglio Val di Sole Val Rendena within only 12 minutes.
