Only few kilometres from the city of Trento lies Civezzano, with its hamlets and quarters spread all over the hills of Monte Calisio

In the village of Santa Colomba you will find a lake of the same name, once known as the “holy lake”. Not far from here there is a little biotope called “Le Grave”.
Civezzano actually boasts a fairly long history. It was in the Roman era when the village, located along the renowned Via Claudia Augusta, was flourishing and became one of the main centres of the area. Even when annexed by the principality of Trento, it continued to be of major importance. Still today there are numerous valuable buildings, dating back to this early era.
Definitely worth seeing is Telvana Castle, which was renovated only recently and became the seat of the local municipality.
