Sover

Sover is an ideal village for those who seek relaxing holidays. When you hike or pleasantly promenade in this area you are constantly accompanied by an impressive view.

One single road traverses the village, which is lined by lordly buildings, the façades of which are lushly decorated with frescoes. The roofs in this area are characterised by yellow bricks as well as terracotta bricks produced in the distillery of Molina di Fiemme, located only a stone's throw from Sover. Also wood handicrafts are characteristic for this village, this arts have been passed on from generation in generation since the 17th century.

Worth to be visited is also the S. Lorenzo parish church dating back to 1537. Its interior boasts three precious wooden altars of the Baroque period. Also worth seeing is the village of Montesover, a settlement at the forest edge. This is where mushrooms and raspberries are picked and processed.
