Comano Terme is located in the area of the so-called Giudicarie Esteriori. The main village of the municipality with a population of about 3,000 is Ponte Arche. The municipality is surrounded by a fantastic natural landscape which is characterized by green high plateaus, mighty mountains and idyllic hamlets which want to be discovered.
The municipality has become famous for the local thermal baths, the Terme di Comano. Meanwhile they are an attraction for guests from near and far and well known far beyond the regional borders. But the region is also fantastic for family excursions, hikes or mountain bike tours.
Moreover the Giudicarie Esteriori have been declared a biosphere reserve thanks to their biodiversity, the sustainable utilisation of their natural resources and the numerous cultural monuments in this region.
