The municipality of Fiavè has its origins in the fusion of three mediaeval settlements. Those who are interested in culture will feel at ease in this municipality: The village is located on the elevated plain of Lomaso where you can even visit local pile dwellings, dating back to 2,300 BC.
However, also other buildings at Fiavè are worth to be noticed: In the district of Castel Campo for example, there is a chapel dating back to the 15th century, as well as the mediaeval courthouse with a loggia, dating back to the 15th century as well. At Ballino, there is the so called "Camerona", a huge grotta, enthroning the settlement. At Torbiera di Fiavè there is a biotope as well as an artificial lake perfect for fishermen. Fiavè is also famous for its cheese and milk products production.
For those who love sports, Fiavè is a perfect starting point for hikes and trekking tours. Moreover you can play tennis, do curling and ice skating.
