The village of Tenno high above Lake Garda is actually part of an association called “Ecomuseo della Judicaria”, whose aim it is to preserve natural and cultural treasures. Tenno’s valuable natural treasures are its olive plantations, known as the most northern ones all over Europe. The olive trees are grown on terrace-shaped grounds, carried by ancient hand-made stone walls.
The little hamlet of Canale features a number of special pieces of art. Here you will find the so-called “Casa degli Artisti”, the House of Artists, which is dedicated to local artists and sculptors and the oh-so fascinating “Parco delle arti”, the park of arts.
