Sagron Mis consists of two moutain villages, Sagròn and Mis, situated in a basin between Passo Cereda and Agordingo, not far from Fiera di Primiero and San Martino di Castrozza. Its picturesque location offers a breathtaking view on the Dolomite mountain peaks, for example on the Piz de Sagron which is part of the Cimonega mountain group.
Worth seeing are above all the Madonna di Loreto church, the parish church of Sagròn, and the Our Lady of Graces church, built in 1901 at Mis. One of the characteristic elements of the area are, however, the rural houses scattered in the landscape of the Mis high valley.
Sagron Mis is situated between two nature reserves: the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Nature Park and the national park of the Belluno Dolomites. Moreover this is where the Dolomite high path n° 2 passes, which leads from Bressanone in South Tyrol to Feltre.
