The Valle di Cavedine valley is also called the "valley of the wind", as there is a constant breeze. Cavedine is the economic and cultural centre of the municipal area. Those who love mountain landscapes can look forward to breathtaking panoramic views! Round the village there are e.g. Monte Bondone, Monte Casale, Monte Gazza-Paganalla and, slightly more distant, the Brenta Dolomites.
Cavedine is also one of the most important archeologic, prehistoric and Roman sites in the surroundings. A Roman Road runs through the entire municipal area, where there is also an archeologic trail, attracting a large number of visitors above all in summertime. Also worth to be visited are the rural mansions as well as the country houses. Above all we recommend you to pay a visit to Piazza Italia. Moreover decorated Palazzi, bridges, arches and stone stairs reveal traces of the original structure of the village.
At Cavedine there is also the homonymous pond, which was formed censequently to several rock falls of the Monte Brento and Monte Casale mountains. Particularly for fishermen the little lake with its numerous fish species is a popular meeting point.
