Dambel is located on the east lakeside of Lake Santa Giustina. The village is surrounded by the apple orchards of the Val di Non valley and is accessible via a road connecting Dambel to Sanzeno and Seio di Sarnonico, where by the way you can also find the popular Dolomiti Golf Club.
The parish church is located on a hill called "Doss dei Sadorni". According to the legend it was built on an ancient saturn temple. Inaugurated in the 15th century, inside the parish church there is a precious wooden altar. Also the church tower is impressive thanks not only to the Gothic arches, but also due to its high spire.
Another chapel, however, rises on a hill called "Dosso Saorì". Beside this building dating back to the 17th century, old Roman graves with burial objects were found.
