The village of Sfruz was not much different in former times: There are still the ancient houses of former times, in between some manors.
Round Piazza Degasperi you can best see these buildings in detail. Hallways, stone portals, wooden attics, labels and even several frescoes decorate these building in the direction of the Roen road.
Behind the Sant'Agata church, masterpiece of Pietro Bianchi, the road to Passo Predaia starts. This is also where you can see some interesting architectonic details such as a portal of 1704 AD with emblem. At the end of this road there is a children's playground and a high relief, illustating Saint Barbara, patron saint of miners.
