The village of Croviana is situated nearby Malé, principal town of the Val di Sole valley, and is surrounded by numerous paths which are perfect for hikes and walks. Croviana is also where Lombard aristocratic families sojourned in the past - this is what e.g. the Castello dei Pezzen testifies. This castle features a donjon as well as corner towers.
Next to the castle there is the S. Giorgio parish church, built in the middle of the 12th century, which was expanded several times in the course of time. Next to the church there is the Pezzen chapel with the family emblem as well as a tombstone, which has been damaged by robbers. Remarkable from a historical point of view is also the Casa Angeli, situated in the historical district "Liciasa" in the Via Nazionale, as well as the historical mill near the "Le Plaze" recreation area, which today houses the Museo dell'Ape Mulino. In the immediate vicinity is also the site of the outdoor centre Trentino Wild Village in Croviana.
By the way: the patron S. Giorgio is celebrated on 23rd of April with a traditional village festival as well as a procession!
