Villa Lagarina is a noble village of the Trentino that is characterised by its palaces, parks and numerous churches. From the central plaza the Palazzo Guerrieri Gonzaga is apparent, which dates back to the 17th century. Also worth to be visited is the Assunta Church, a Baroque construction, as well as the Palazzo Libera, which also hosts the Diocesan Museum. Also Palazzo Camelli, the present seat of the townhall, is worth to be visited.
Also in the component localities of Villa Lagarina there is much to see: at Piazzo for instance, there is the S. Apollonia church, as well as a historic spinning company. Castellano, however, boasts a striking castle as well as the San Lorenzo Church. Only a stone's throw from the village, there are the Strafalt waterfalls with their caves and historical buildings. And not far from Castellano, there is the lake Lago di Cei, which is particularly striking due to its romantic location in the middle of beech forests.
