Bolbeno has 300 inhabitants and extends on a green high plateau in the heart of the Valli Giudicarie valleys. It offers a gorgeous panoramic view on the hollow of “Busa di Tione” at the feet of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and at the junction of the Sarca and Arnò rivers. The face of the village is of Roman origin, it is characterised by symmetrical paths and roads, vegetable gardens, idyllic places, farmhouses and ancient manors as well as squares with the typical fountains of this area.
During the warm season relaxing walking tours through the woods around the village await you. Worth a visit is the “Santuario della Madonna del Lares” pilgrimage church, which is located 3 km far away from Bolbeno. In winter Bolbeno is popular for its skiing area which is located at the outskirts of the village and easily accessible. It is particularly suitable for beginners and offers also fun for the little ones, due to its “Bolbenolandia” snow playground.
