At 664 m asl. Prezzo is located on the slopes of the Dos Alt and the Monte Melino mountains along the road which leads to the high plateau of Boniprati. The villagescape is characterized by picturesque little white houses, often surrounded by grape vines which climb up the façades. After the enormous devastations during World War I the village was completely rebuilt. Worth seeing is the church dedicated to St. James which was reconstructed in 1560.
Prezzo is an ideal holiday resort for all those who love to do long walks in unspoiled nature. The area of Zeprio is a popular starting point for hikes to the Monte Melino, Dos Alt and the Cima Cleve mountains. Also a trip to the Boniprati High Plateau should not be missed, a popular hiking area in summer, while in winter a cross-country ski-track and several routes for ski tours are available.
