Valdaone is located at 767 m a.s.l. and has 1,144 inhabitants. It consists of the districts Bersone, Daone and Praso and is connected with the beautiful Val di Daone valley, which extends for about 30 km until the impressive Adamello massif.
Valdaone is an ideal holiday destination for nature lovers and visitors enjoying active holidays. Every year the speed climbing world championship is staged here. The surroundings of Valdaone with its lush flora and fauna is rich in water falls, mountain lakes and alpine pastures which want to be discovered.
