Description
The Rifugio Monte Lefre is located above Ivano-Fracena at about 1,300 metres in a quiet location surrounded by the nature of Trentino. From the nearby viewpoint "Punto Panoramico del Cimone" you have a splendid view across the Valsugana, where there are still military caves and trenches from the First and Second World War.
The mountain hut is an ideal starting point for hikes and cycle tours, and there are numerous well-signposted paths in the surrounding area. You can also visit the spectacular Ponte dell’Orco, a natural rock bridge.
Those who love horses and already have good riding experience can try the "Wild Trail" (trail riding) through the Lagorai mountains.
In a relaxed atmosphere, guests are spoilt with regional specialities in the mornings and evenings and can enjoy a rest on the sun terrace.
