Carzano is located in a sunny position at the edge of the Scurelle plain. Thanks to its location a mild climate prevails the whole year round, which is above all beneficial for fruit cultivation.
The village has first of all become famous due to the so-called Sogno di Carzano“ (the dream of Carzano). That is how the defeat of the Italian troupes in the battle against Austrian troupes in WWI is called. The church of Madonna della Neve was proclaimed a national monument and is still today a reminder of the above mentioned battle.
If you visit Carzano in May or June you can experience a natural spectacle of the special kind, as in this village the rose blossom period is particularly impressive. What we also recommend is a promenade in the river park, which is equipped with playgrounds and picnic sites.
