From Pergine Valsugana a road takes up to the right side of the Valle dei Mocheni, where the village Sant’Orsola Terme is located. This village is famous for the cultivation of strawberries, raspberries. etc. However, the landscape is characterised by rural farms that are spread all over soft and sunny slopes. Moreover the village offers several restaurants that serve traditional meals.
The multitude of hiking trails in the surroundings of Sant’Orsola Terme is ideal for extended promenades or cycling tours. Starting from the village, you can e.g. reach the mountain farms in elevated location, that are undoubtedly real cultural jewels. Highly recommendable is also a promenade along the Fersina river, taking across a kind of open air museum: this trail snakes past an ancient sawmill, a historical mill and one of the most ancient mines of the village.
